Paying Insurance that does not want to cover my loan

I took a loan with African Bank in 2017, October of R125 000. I was paying my debt of R5311.96 every month until my contract ended in 31 December 2018. I did inform African Bank that I was no longer working and what documents must I sent for the insurance that I was paying to cover the loan on my behalf. I did send the documents but African Bank still did not cover my loan. Now, the loan is currently R140 000. The loan is more than I initially took. The money that I had paid from 2017 to 31 December 2018 really does not reflect at all. Why is that African Bank does not cover the 5 months of which I was unemployed. I have sent all the relevant documents. This Bank must just close. It's actually not even operating like a Bank but rather a Mashonisa. PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM AFRICAN BANK
