Pathetic service

I was on a learnership and app**** for a credit card. On application I was told I was approved and I must take insurance incase of death or loss of income etc. I was recently let go by the company as contract ended, when advised African bank to claim from insurance I now get told you can get a credit card if you are on a learnership but the insurance is not going to pay. I have been paying insurance it was your employees fault for giving me wrong or misinformation. I WILL NOT PAY this account as I was told insurance will cover the costs and I was paying every month.
