Overpaying for Loan

Hi I feel that African bank is ripping me off because i have being paying this debt for more that 35 month since 2013 now 2018 but the debt is not reducing. Actual loan amount R10 000 borrow, now i am owing R15 001,20 again and they told me i was paying only the interest but not the actual credit owing but my credit score reveal that this account was closed in 2015. please see below from credit report:-
