Never USE African Bank.

I want to know how a company like African Bank can still be running with the poor service they provide. I had a couple of loans with African Bank many years ago and there is one particular loan that's come to surface now. Back in 2006 this loan according to me was paid up but not according to African Bank. The original loan amount was R10 000.00 after 13 payments my total paid to African bank was R19 107.14. Now according to them there was an outstanding balance of R 1952.97 on 2006/11/30 when they took their last debit order. With the service fee and interest that amount came to R R2355.78 on 2006/11/30 almost 9 years later I have African Bank on my payment profile with ITC for a loan that was paid up and now claiming I owe them just over R21 000.00. When contacted their staff has no idea what they doing and then send me a settlement letter for just over R17 000.00. No offence but you guys are ripping the people of South Africa off. How can you claim those figures? There is another loan that African bank also stopped taking the debit order and the loan is only a couple of months older than the above mentioned one but the settlement amount is only R4000.00. I want this sorted!!!!
