My salary is not showing in my account but was paid in by my employer , I had to phone the bank to find out what is wrong, no communication was sent out for any complications regarding salaries

My salary is not showing in my account but was paid in by my employer , I had to phone the bank to find out what is wrong, no communication was sent out for any complications regarding salaries. Turnaround time is 48 hrs for my salary it is not my problem there are holidays plus a weekend, debit orders needs to be paid early I cannot wait 48 hours how am I supposed to get to work as I work in retail and we don't close, this very unacceptable.
