MY ADVICE... DO NOT DEAL WITH AFRICAN BAN**** EVER!!!

Hi,I had take a loan as well as a credit card a long time ago +-10 years ago. However, at the end when i decided to settle this account, I called in African bank which was like more than 6 years ago to ask them for a settlement on the credit card and loan. African Bank then furnished me with a settlement amount and I have paid that settlement amount in full for both the credit card and the loan combined. A year later after settling the account, I was going through my documents and stumbled upon African banks documents in regards to this loan and credit card, before I can discard any of them I did call African Bank to confirm if everything is fine before I can discard them and according to the bank everything is settled and they have confirmed that over the telephone. Now more than 5 years later I am being harassed by phone calls and emailed saying that I owe X amount of money which I feel is utter nonsense. This got to be ******ion at some sort of level knowing that African Bank was settled in full according to the settlement agreement This is a load of **** and I feel nobody should ever have any dealings with African Bank because you will be prone to such repayments etc. I will never bank neither will I ever advise anyone to bank with such poor "professionals" Absolutely terrible Reference is C01- ********** 48 ID No. ********** 166084
