MTN MOBILE MONEY CASH IN TO AFRICAN BANK POCKETS

MoMo transactions are secured by African Bank Limited, African Bank is the financial institution that provides the secure platform for MoMo transactions. My experience on 17 April 2025 is testament to it not being that secure. i did a "cash in" using capitec MasterCard transaction of R500 at 18:11pm. More than 24 hours have past and this is normally an instantaneous transaction. i eventually. after entering the otp it said successfully authorized then processing payment. next screen was a time out but the money was withdrawn from my capitec account . i contacted capitec and they say the transaction was successful. i contacted mtn mobile and the soonest i will get a response is on the 25 April given the public hoilidays and then 72 hours to resolve with african bank platform.
