Mistaken Rebates cost Consumer

I’ve been a client of African Bank for a good long time & never had issues until now. My credit card has been blocked by you, not because it wasn’t paid by me, but rather because you made a mistake by giving a rebate on my account, unbeknownst to me. This mistake that happened again & again as per the consultant that explained to me that a rebate was done over 3 months & they would like to apologise. How can an organisation apologise to the end user as the consumer & still leave me as the consumer to pay for the mistake that was made by this giant? The second call was done 25/10/2022 and until now, no feedback and no correction because it is on me as the consumer to pay back the rebate. How do you make this kind of mistake and out it on me to pay and you just apologise. I would just like the account to be reinstated to me please. Thank you

Reviewer Update
The turnaround time for having Samuel from African Bank call me, was amazing. This has been an immediate response after my HP review.
However, this call was merely just to get me as the consumer agree to make arrangements for paying rebates that was mistakenly given to me. Do I actually have a choice to pay because if I don’t adhere & make arrangements, it will be to my detriment. If I had mistakenly or voluntarily not make payments on any of my accounts, I would have been heavily penalised by interests to make immediate payments. How is this organisation penalised for their “system” error.

To Samuel, thank you for your kindness & service rendered.
