misleading and dishonest bank

i took a loan with African Bank and halfway thru payback period where i had been consistant,I was unfairly dismissed from work. i informed the bank of my predicament and I was adviced by the bank consultant to send through dismissal letter and id copy to insurance claim which I did. I never received any feedback from the bank whether my claim was approved or not. For 4 months I was harassed by the bank consultants who called daily at time twice a day or more asking me the same questions despite having informed the bank of my situation. i would even update them of my hearing date. In the first three months I was explained to by a consultant that the insurance can only pay after three months. My situation worsened when my relatives were receiving the same calls which stopped after the bank was reported on this conduct. i still do not understand why is it that I was subjected to such treatment despite having comp**** with the bank. my case was recently concluded and I wrote to the bank explaining what happened and that i should be forwarded detailed statement which includes the interests which I learned of during the daily calls from the bank. my letter was never responded to and I called the bank and explained my situation to a consultant who explained that it has only been introduced 2016 that the insurance does not cover dismissals. I took the loan before the policy could be effected. and that is not what was explained to me that my conditions in the contract could change at any time and I would not be informed of this ******** action. I requested to talk to a supervisor and as the consulted handed the phone to the supervisor she was shamelessly talking ill of me (saying who said I should be that irresponsible to lose my job). I indicated to the lady that I heard what was said and that my case was not dismissed and there was a rulling. When she heard me say that she said that in that case I should submitt the outcome of my case from the CCMA which I did. I did not receive any feedback for weeks until I called and was told that the insurance won't pay because I was given three months settlement the story had now changed. I referred this matter to their in-house consumer advocate who said they would contact me instead I am called every day around 7 am asked whether I'm working or not buy an unruly consultant who even has the audacity to slam the phone on me. It is phathetic that there are intitutions such as this that do not treat clients with respect I have maintained that I am not refusing to pay what I owe and African bank keep their end of the deal and to address my matter in a respectful manner which so far hasn't been the case.
