After selling some persian carpets left to me from my late mother for cash,having too much money surplus for requirements I travelled to nearest African bank in Outdshoorn to deposit some funds.I was asisted by a young lady there.She said on a deposit of R27000 the charge would be R3 per thosuand =R81, On checking the next day into my account it confirmed this amount.On checking a week later I was horrifed this had risen to R840.I had I know of this exorbitant amount I would have never made the deposite.On the false informaton given to me the I bilieve African Bank should refund this money.This is not the only thing,I was misinformied about. She said the saving parcel's interest rate was 4.5 % where it is only 1.5.If correction is not received regarding this matter I shall take it further.
