Loan not getting any lower even though we pay every month
My mom has a loan with African that she has been paying back monthly, since April this year it has been sitting on the same amount not lower. They keep calling her telling her they owe about 85k however their statements says 75k. This is unfair they are robbing people off. Can I please get an explanation

01 Dec 2021, 08:36Her number is *** they just debited an extra R750 from her account which she did not agree too, plus another R50 I don’t know for what on top of what she is paying on a monthly basis.

04 Dec 2021, 11:12She got a call from one of the complaints office the matter seemed to have been resolved until she got a message to say she must pay her account before they hand it over to credit Bureau in 24 hours when they have debited on the 30/11/2021. I do not understand how can people working for the same company speak different stories. The lady she spoke to assured her that all is in order. It’s pointless for you to say this and later change the story. This is not professional at all

Following the above please note that I am experiencing the same problem again. Can I request this to be rectified with immediate effect. The outstanding balance has been sitting on R64 126 since April 2022 yet you debit every month without fail. Please send us an amended statement ASAP.

Can this be fixed for real this time , because I feel you taking advantage of people knowing very well that they don’t look at their statements sometimes. Where’s the money she’s paying going to? O would expect the statement showing a different amount, Since April she has paid for May, June as well as July

Each and every month I have to report or complain about the same thing yet I always get re assured that this will be permanently solved. How can the statement reflect same outstanding amount even though you guys debit every month. The amount has been sitting on R56 870 since end of April 2022 how is that even possible. Please fix this immediately before I take it further. You deduct each and every single month where does the money go to
