LOAN DECLINED

I was called by African Bank Agent by the name of Peter to offfer me a loan and i was told that I qualify for R17500.00. I went to Fourways mall branch to apply and I was assisted by Ann and she also confirned that I can get R17500.00. The whole process of loan application was done and I signed the agreement forms and I given a copy. Two hours later I was called and told that the loan was declined. How come they didnt tell me during the process.
