linking of credit card

i had lost my credit and went into the branch in randburg the guy helped me with everything and once i tried to use the replacement card it declined me we called the call centre and they advised that the card needs to be relinked ive called the call centre several times to find out whats going on and they say that its at the back office and will take 24 up to 48 hours to relink why does this take so long is there one person working in that back office im highly dissappointed with the service of this bank and would not recomend anyone else to use
