Judgement against Consumer Credit Act

I had a loan and credit card with African bank. When I lost my job I informed them with full proof of documentation however they continued to put a judgment against my name which makes it difficult for me to access any credit and the balance is huge interest rates extremely high. This was done regardless of the principle of debt which should prescribe if not paid in a period of 3 months. I am now servicing the debt but can't pay it off sooner . I approached them with no help
