Incorrect Information supp**** to Credit Bureaus

Good day

On the 9th of November 2016 I submitted a retrenchment insurance claim to African Bank in Rustenburg. The same month no deductions were made from my bank account as it was expected that their insure will process and pay out in time. However, this did not happen as their insurer only paid the claim in January 2016.

My issue is that while their insurer delayed the payment of the claim they supp**** the Credit Bureaus with information that reflects my accounts to be in arrears and overdue. This is not my fault as I am not involved in this process and all the required documentation was submitted to them.

In addition to this, records held at the bureaus state that my account was 30 days in arrears in September 2015 and 90 days in October 2015. How is this possible and what happened to the 60 days in between?

I would like African bank to correct this and state on all my credit reports that my account was up-to-date in November and December 2015.
