How do you claim if you pay insurance

In November 2020 I app**** for an insurance claim due to loss of income I send through my requested supporting documents every time I get sms or email please resend your documents which I did. I get call from their recoveries department I tell them I'm still waiting on response from the insurance department they tell me they will escalate my request it been three months and still no response and I afraid the policy will lapse
