Harassment/ Irresponsible Lending

<p>Hi,</p> <p><br />I got a personal loan and ellerines account which was financed by African Bank. That was in 2010. i got retrenched from my work and couldnt pay . The said that even through i had insurence that i ddnt make 3month payment. I have not been paying this account for years as i was unemployed and a single parent. My father passed away in December and he had a car that me and my sisters sold and split the money. I called in and offered settlement of 40 % of the loan. They couldnt accept and advised that they can offer me 50% that is valid for 30 days. However i am now receiving threating sms advising me of summons if i dont pay by the 10 of June how is that possible?????? remember i called them for this offer ???. </p>
