Given a settlement amount and now being told I owe

Hi<br> <br> On 29 May 2015 I received a settlement letter quoting me a settlement amount of R5443.81 which I paid. When I called the Call Centre I was told the amount was not reflecting and I would have to call after some days to request that the credit card be closed.<br> Around the same time I received a call offering me a limit increase, which I refused and again requested that my credit card be closed and still I was referred to the Call Centre.<br> <br> Today I called the Call Centre to close the credit card and was told that I had used my credit card to the values of R849.00. Doreen couldn't tell me what the R749.93 was for as she said was uncleared but showed that there was a POS transaction made on my credit card. I still have this card with me and it has not been used. She further said that there is also an amount of R99 from some company. <br> <br> I need this card closed TODAY. If there were POS transactions made, they are definitely not from me. Please investigate and get back to me.
