Four weeks personal loan application

Initially app**** for the a loan with african bank on the 20th of October, after having submitted all of the requested documents I was asked to resumbit my paylsip. Which I did on the 11th hour of the 48hour stated turnaround time for feedback I was then asked to resubmit my bank statements. This merry go round persisted until my application expired. The bank statements are pdfs received from my bank, nothing much I can do there. I the re-app**** on the 4th, for your affordability department send back my application for attachment. Yes, again request bank statements. This i did fulfill again, today I called in to find out what is happening since the 48hours have lapsed..This happened even though the matter was escalated. I have lodge a complaint and have received an SMS stating another 7days. This means it take African Bank a four weeks to respond to a personal loan application, I am shocked at this turn around time.
