False approval for loan

I did an online application to see if I qualified for a loan with African Bank, after completing online I was offered a short term loan of R3000 over 5 months. Shortly after that I received a call from an African Bank consultant wanting to finalise my application, after answering all her questions she confirmed that I qualify for the same loan amount and term that was displayed online she even said \congratulations\" and said I should go to my nearest branch with the required documents to finalise everything. I received an SMS to go to my nearest branch with my documents. I visited the branch at Blue Route Mall with my paper work . The only thing I am committed to spending every month is groceries however the consultant did not even put through my application because she said that my bank statement shows I spend more than what I advised, obviously after I buy what is necessary I am going to spend the money I have left over on what ever I please however I was scrutinised for every swipe showed on my bank statement, so basically I never got my loan that I was approved and I guess I should leave all my money untouched so that African Bank can see I don't spend any money! False promises"
