Failure to resolve to me since Nov 2014

I religiously paid my account via debt order because I lived in a remote area- with no issues. I went to change my banking details and received an sms with a reference number confirming that this is done. Month end there was debt and I phoned in to alert the with the reference number. They asked for the account number again luckily I had my Capitec card and could give it to them again. They assured me they would would debt 19 December but I told them that I would be only paid 21 December so they could debt then. Again no debt so waited for month end. January 27 I get an sms saying that my debt has been rejected and I told them that my debt date was 28th and this has never changed since joined African Bank and they said it would debt the following day- Then nothing.
I reported this to the relevant departments and eventually to consumer advocate's office as was not getting any help. Meanwhile the interest increasing and my name diminishing. As soon as African Bank had a easy pay option I sent someone to go and paywho lived close to a town while I waited for the interest issues to be resolved so my account can go back to debit order till now.
I have requested to settle but nothing
