Extremely Poor service

I app**** for a loan and I was approved by African bank and I opted for the credit card. I was told to expect an sms saying funds are deposited as everything was done except confirmation of employment. It’s been over a week and I’m still waiting. I’ve followed up more than I should. Does African bank actually understand that when a person applies for credit, it’s because they want to use it and not wait two weeks while you confirm employment? What am I missing here?
