Ex offender can't get financed

Three weeks ago I went to African bank to apply for a credit card<br> I was declined due to my minor ******** record, an offence I committed 5 years ago. I was told no ******** will be finance by African bank. I was really ****ed off to hear my African brother telling me that and knowing exactly that our former president Nelson Mandela was also jail fighting for our rights. What service is that from African bank and one thing I wanna know is that part of they policy? Funny thing three weeks later Nedbank offered me a credit card
