I went to African Bank to ask if they offered study loans. I was quoted on the spot, but I unfortunately was not keen on their offer, and I walked away without entering into any agreement with the bank. Furthermore, I never signed up for any of their products (i.e., bank accounts (savings or otherwise), etc.), nor did I sign up for any marketing notifications.

Despite the above, I continue to receive SMSes from African Bank about time-wasting content. The latest SMS (received today at 07:17) discusses "***** Alert". What is worse, African Bank doesn't even give me the option to opt out from receiving notifications from them, and it is frustrating.
