Employment Vefication Issues
Unable to verify employment. I don't understand what issues they have. I've gotten HR to complete employment confirmation. Company has a reg number , pays tax. Get paid on time. submitted payslips from Sage. Company stamp provided. All I get is a queuing rejection and no specific reason. My company has a lot of employees and they actually want to resolve the issue with African Bank but African Bank does not want to play ball. Absa had no issues, Failing to understand why AB is the only institution that can't verify steady employment. This is for a credit card application

20 Aug 2025, 01:17On the 13th of August, I received a call regarding a matter that I raised both personally and on behalf of my company. The consultant I spoke with assured me that he would return my call within an hour. I am still waiting. This lack of follow-up is concerning. If this is indicative of the service we can expect, please advise whether we should formally notify all employees within our company to avoid engaging with African Bank. We would prefer to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth, trips to branches, repeated phone calls, and credit enquiries made in our name. Please let me know how you intend to resolve this, so we can take appropriate steps and avoid further inconvenience.
