***** service every time

<p><br />I have just received an sms that African Bank will deduct my monthly instalment on 15 December 2016 instead of the usual date I requested which is 27th of every month.</p> <p>What makes me angry is African Bank's assumption that they dont need to ask my permission and will continue to do what suits them irrespective of whether it suits me!</p> <p>Secondly, when I called the queries number ********** 500 four times, the call would just hang up without anyone picking up!</p> <p> </p> <p>Most businesses have the curtesy of calling and asking first before making such decisions.</p> <p>In Novemeber I went in to report that my card was ****** and requested a new one. The lady assisting me said I was three months in arrears. When I explained that all statements from Afrixan Bank show that debit orders were successful, she remarked that our "type" always reverses them. I asked her what she meant and she reploed, "you students". I calmly went to Capitec and printed all relevant statements and went to an internet café and printed out Afrucan Bank statements and returned. when i came back, suddenly all transactions reflected on the system and i could get my card! when i followed up with this, no one could explain how 2hrs ago I Was close to R1000 in arrears and suddenly I'm not! one of cousins enlightened me that this is how yhe clerks make a quick buck by getting you to pay supposed arrears up front! I reported this incident on their ratings app but no one has so much as sms'd me about this.</p> <p>Once this loan is paid up, i have no interest in continuing business with African Bank and I have told everyone I know about the horrible service</p> <p> </p>
