Do transfers take two weeks from one bank to another?

I am grossly frustrated due to a transaction done on 02-03-2022. Transfer African bank had to do from themselves to another bank. I checked with the other bank last week, no payment was received.Phoned African bank, was advised to wait till Monday, it is Wednesday today, and is two weeks since transaction was done. I checked with the other bank again today, no payment received.I have to provide proof of payment, amount sent, date and reference number.been phoning African bank for these details today without success. Their numbers,*** and *** ring and play endless music, adverts for hour on end.Does a transfer take two weeks from one bank to another locally.It is really frustrating to be going from pillar to post without any assistance.Can someone in African bank please help resolve this matter.
