Dishonesty
I had a loan with African bank which I paid in two months way before time and it was supposed to be paid in a period of years, I went to African Bank Southgate mall and I asked for a settlement amount and they gave it to me which I then settled within the given time and I asked them to close the loan and give me a paid up letter, the consultant said he has closed the loan account but the paid up letter can only be issued after 24 hours. To my surprise they debited my account with an amount of R149 and some cents, what for I don't know, the audacity, I then went to the branch to query this, up to today they haven't reversed the amount nor given me feedback.

01 Dec 2023, 23:09African Bank is not prepared to resolve my issue, they requested a three months bank statement and an ID copy which I sent though I don't understand why since I'm not applying for credit but they are saying it's not good enough, how twisted is that, they managed to debit my account but when they are supposed to return my money to that same account they want a three months bank statement and they have the audacity to say the one I sent is not good enough
