Declined me after they approved me

I received a call from the call centre Head Office the were doing a quote with me and the lady told me I qualify for a whole lot of things so we went through everything done a credit check well according to her she did and then she came back to telling me I have to go to a branch to finalise the loan so I went to the branch finalised everything signed for everything even received my credit card and everything so the lady told me the Head Office will do confirmation of employment on Monday then I can start using my credit card. On Monday someone called from the Head Office telling me they declined it because of the credit check and affordability but what I don't understand is last year African Bank gave me 5 loans I almost paid R2500 per month so are you telling me they never did there job because what's on my name was always on my name. And it means that they are just a ****.
