Credit Reports

Isnt it funny that when you owe credit providers money they will hound you ie. sms, email, phone calls and hand you over as a judgement...but when you pay up your account they take forever to notify the Credit Bureau. I paid up my African Bank account in full 3 weeks ago. I call the credit bureau today to find out my credit status and they still have African Bank listed as unpaid. Transunion were not notified of my payment. I call African Bank and they ask me if i requested an update from African Bank so i say why should i when i have a paid up letter. This blows my mind that this type of incompetency exists especially when there are factors that affect peoples lives. Now because of this listing i have been turned down my home loan.
