Credit card limit increase

<p>I went into the Bank to get a Credit card increase (because they said I qualify for one.) First they say I can get an increase and just need to submit my documents. I did everything they asked but then had to verify my employment. They canceled my blue card and gave me a silver one. The reason for my complaint is WHY cancel your card if they not even sure IF you qualify for the silver card (even though they said you do). Then they don't even give you a reason why you did not get the increase for the credit card they just said that it did not meet the criteria. NOW I have to go BACK to the Bank and get ANOTHER blue card because they canceled the old one without knowing if I get an increase on my card or not. This was a big waste of my time and all that without any explenation. </p>
