Caring for their own

A friend of mine works at one of their branches in Mbombela. She recently lost her mother in law, and was visibly stressed after returning to work. Her immediate senior took note, and recommended she take about two weeks leave to rest.

The regional manager and managers of other nearby branches- including her own- went to see her at home, offered to assist her and some of the worst affected family members go for counseling. She felt appreciated at her work.

Not sure if she’d have saved enough from transport cost for the #blackfriday shopping spree.
