Busisiwe from African Bank customer care rude and mannerless
This doesn't even deserve a star, if I could I would give them a negative 5 star review.African bank staff needs to be fired and just hire new people who at least understand why they are at work and have some professionalism in them. Did an application for a credit card online but there was some problems on the website. Went to the Menlyn branch, the lady who was assisting me was helpful but unnecessarily unprofessional. During the application she was on the phone, not sure with who discussing a trip she had to go to, literally called the person and was chatting to her like she was on her desk There was a client that she was assisting and she was just telling the other person her problems. Confedential things like the balance of her investment account, and though she was not saying it maliciously, but that's not the type of news to share with your friend as you are gossiping. There was a time when she was on her phone with her friend and I was going through my phone and she just grabbed my phone because she has sent me a pop up message or otp, did not tell me that I'm going to send you an otp because she was busy gossiping on her cellphone, just grabbed my phone without my consent or letting me know. Eventually she needed a payslip which I said I will bring and asked me to give it to one person specifically because the gentleman that could be there might not send it and just put it aside, not sure if she realized that that made me question African Bank and did not make me gain confidence in her. The next day a gentleman that assisted me when I sent the payslip was helpful and professional, tall guy with a beard. Fast forward I got an offer, went to the branch but did not take it because it ws for a loan. Received 29 calls from African bank in a day and got another sms that the credit card offer was available and went to the Menlyn branch again because it's the closest, got told about a loan again and explained that I didn't want a loan and the sms said credit card, the lady couldn't answer my questions so I asked to call customer service, the resolution that I got was to log a complaint. I asked why am I logging a complaint because I'm not complaining, I need to know whats happening because the sms that they sent me and the info that they're giving me in the branch does not correspond. The complain was done anyway and the lady said that could hinder me getting the loan as because there was a complaint the matter would go to forensics, I told her to proceed with the complaint then, I did not appreciate how that seemed like a "threat" because how does a customer's enquiry about her application go to forensics if it has nothing to do with *****. I later called customer services again, because my enquiry is still that the information that there sending on sms and the branch is polar opposite, that is when I spoke to Busisiwe. Had it not been for her, I wouldn't have even wrote a review and let everything go but the disrespect that she gave me led me to this point. I called the customer center on 08/12 and I spoke to the most RUDDEST, MANNERLESS person ever. I urge African Bank to listen to that converstion and give me feedback if that is the way they train their people to talk to clients, if her behavior is aligned to their mission and vision. At one point of that conversation I like literally said to her, "don't raise your voice at me, do you hear how I'm not raising my voice and talking to you calmly although I'm the one with a complaint ? Talk to me like that". That female (does not deserve to be called a lady), had the audacity to tell me it's because I'm not listening and hung up the phone. I DEMAND a phonecall with Busisiwe where she apologizes for her behavior. It is her job to explain to clients if they have an enquiry, and if she cannot do her job she must not blame the client for it.
