BE AWARE OF AFRICAN BANK WHEN YOU APPLY FOR A LOAN

im writing this email hoping someone will be learn one or two things from it. on the 5th of November 2020, I app**** for a loan from African bank and i was granted the amount i was looking for which was R40,000.00 and was deposited on the same day to my bank account. today the 6th of November 2020, at about 12h17 i received a call from a guy who called him self Themba Alfred Khuzwayo. Themba indicated that he was calling from African bank just to find out if I receceved the R40 000 I app**** for from African bank and also he wants me to rate the service i received from the person who was assisting me Itumeleng Mokoena of which its the same person who assisted me. I believed him. he also asked if Itumeleng told me the promotional items that African bank is offering such as laptop and cell phones. this guy had all my information i provided African bank during my application process. He also said he need to verify my bank details because customers now they app**** for huge amount of loan and change their personal details which is costing the bank, He asked when the my bank card will expire and i told him from there the guy confirmed my card numbers and i did not know how he had that information. after the verification he indicated that i was going to receive the airtime from African bank as a cutesy to thank me form choosing them, he ask which network am I using together with the type of the phone i was using that when i should have see that something was not right but since the guy had all the information i provided african bank i did not realise something was wrong. he ask if i received the airtime and i said no and he said i must restart my phone he will call later to see if i received it and i will also received the sms with reference number that we spoke , of which i received that sms with African bank information but no sms for airtime instead i received a notification from Vodacom that they received a request from me to do SIM swipe or i should contact they if I suspect *****,since i was busy at work I though i will call Vodacom later. when i arrived at home after work my phone had lost the network. at first I thought if i restart it then it will come back but nothing. I tried to contact Vodacom using my mom phone which took for ever but eventually I manage to speak to a consultant who confirm that i requested a SIM swipe so my phone will not have network. I indicated it was not me and she did help me and indicated it will take a day for phone to have network, just there a there I remembered that After i spoke to Themba from so called African bank that when the problem started and i called my bank FNB to to report ****** card and that my card was used to a place I dont know and I should have received sms as a numerous attempt was done to withdrew the money was made but declined due to insufficient funds in my bank account. I'm still shocked because if I did not use that money immediately yesterday today was going to be my worse day for my life. its is clear that African bank employees are double agents. they take our information and give it to these **********. I learned my lesson and no matter how desperate I am I will never app**** for a credit from African bank any more.
