Bad service

I lost my job last year during the first national lockdown went to African bank to alert them that I won’t be receiving salary anymore since I lost my job they asked for the unemployment letter of which I gave them to claim for the insurance since I been paying for it when I took out the loan. But I’m receiving calls everyday to make payment and I’m told that I need to send that letter every months. Why is that
