Bad Service

i have an arrangement in place with African bank to deduct the installment on the 25th of January. This was agreed and i received sms confirmation. I asked the agent at the time of the call to provide me with a reference number for the call because i like to be safe and she advise that she didn't have a reference for me, this is the first time a financial institution cannot provide a reference number. On the 17 January to my horror African Bank debited my account. They happened to debit the last money i had in my account to see me through until payday, that money was also needed to pay for my car on the 18th thats in for repairs. I called African Bank the first agent tried to explain the system and it hunts for money... I dont care that was not the agreement that was made. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and she also explained again about the system and that she will log a dispute and i need to send information and i will get that via sms. I recieved the sms with the instruction to send my id proof of payment, 3 months bank statements.... why in the world do i need to send all this you should have it on file as im a customer and for what good reason must i send 3 months bank statements? also proof of payment ? you debited my account check your own damn account for the payment. Non the less i sent the documents to the email and today the email returned saying unable to connect to your mail server??? are you kidding me? You are a pathetic bank.

this isnt the first time you debit people whenever you feel like it and each time i call your agents try and spin stories as if you dont know better. I do know better i worked for a bank for many years, i have never heard such nonsense in my entire life. You cannot do what you want , you cannot debit when you feel like it. so now that i couldnt pay for my car due to your negligence and lack of processes and couldnt get to work who is going to pay for the financial losses i occured? I also asked the supervisor to cancel my debit order so i can use alternative payment methods to which she refused, as a customer i have the right to choose the best suitable payment method do i not?
