Bad costumer service from African Bank
I have a problem with African Bank! I have phoned in on 30 Nov 2021 and asked a settlement amount on my loan. The lady gave me an amount and two email addresses where I need to mail the POP and request the account to be closed as well as a settlement letter to be emailed to me as proof the loan is now settled. Nothing has been done and customer service is useless! I refuse to pay another cent because I have settled this account.
Since then I have numerous times emailed and phoned to please close the account and email me a settlement letter. to Avail! Since Monday, 17 Jan 2022 every day I have received phone calls on the "outstanding" balance! Every time I had to explain the situation over again!

22 Jan 2022, 16:11Another week is gone African! Spoke to African Bank about 7 times! I was promised on Friday that my account will be closed and a paid up letter will be processes in next week (24 - 28 Jan) but I received this message now!
African Bank: Your request *** could not be met due to an outstanding balance due. Call ***for more information.
What a useless bank! Any feedback!

Another week is gone African! Spoke to African Bank about 7 times! I was promised on Friday that my account will be closed and a paid up letter will be processes in next week (24 - 28 Jan) but I received this message now!

24 Jan 2022, 13:01 Once again I had a phone call this morning re: the balance due and I had to explain again what happened. The problem is still not resolved. What I find frustrating is African Bank phones me on my cell phone. I have to verify it is me talking by answering questions and still the customer service person from African Bank can not help me! They want me to go into a branch and sort it out.
When will a manager phone me to sort this problem and assist!
