Bad bad bad service

<p>I was offered a loan and credit card by African Bank over the phone, which I accepted. I went to the bank (MENLYN BRANCH) on 2017/06/02 with the documents they have requested to complete my credit card application which was done and when it was time to close off a sale, i was told that there are no cards, and i should come back on monday.. why continue with a sale when you know you dont have a card?? What kind of a bank dont have cards??? Imagine I get to Nandos and be told that there is no chicken. I then decided not to go on Monday 2017/06/05 as I was not sure if the card will be available.. I then went on Tuesday 2017/06/06 and finally got the card to my surprise again my offer had decreased as well and i accepted and was given a card and a signed contract was emailed to me. The consultant told me that my card will be active within 2 to 48 hours. </p> <p> </p> <p><br />48 hours has passed and my card is still not active yet I have a contract with African Bank. <br />How do you give a person a signed contract if you haven't finalised anything? </p> <p> <br />Is this a way of African Bank trying to de***** consumers or are they trying to destroy consumers' credit rating? Had I known how they operate I would have never accepted their offer, I accepted it because I used the service before and it was excellent.. if the money is not in my account by tomorrow 09 June 2017 I urge you to cancel everything</p>
