African Bank will not release my funds...

I have a 60 month Fixed Deposit with African Bank that has matured. The money is in my My World Account. But I am currently in the UK, and do not have my South African cell-phone number any more. When I log in to my account, I cannot access the funds at all, because the OTP goes to my South African cell-phone number. I've emailed African Bank twice and, after six days, they have finally rep****, with the information that I need to phone. So I have just phoned (twice); I have spoken to four different people, and spent over R320.00 on the phone calls - and no-one can help me. 'Unfortunatey, we cannot help you. You need to come into the Bank'. I've been verified, with the correct ID number and login pin - but, according to African Bank, there's nothing they can do. I need the funds urgently. Surely I'm not the only person in this situation?

I am grateful to have received a response, and to have had a conversation, now, with someone from African Bank. She will take the matter further and I will wait for further developments. But ALL OF THIS HASSLE because I cannot receive an OTP on an obsolete number. Apparently there is NO WAY the system can be bypassed: even though I can log into my account, with my South African ID number, PIN and Password - all convincing proof that I am who I say I am! Poor slaves of technology...
