African Bank *********

African bank's process is *********. Firstly, when someone does an online application they would either at that moment get a "you pre approved or sorry you don't meet the credit criteria". Well that is not African bank. You apply for credit you get a reply saying "you approved" then you get someone call you asking are you still interested you say yes. They say ok you can go into any branch and submit your documents. You go to the branch then you submit your documents they confirm the "offer" again with you. They discuss debit order date instalment amount, sign a contract and advised that they will send the documents to head office. It will take 24 to 48 hours she says. Nowhere in that process so far do they say it is being processed or it's not yet approved. According to me it's approved why because the system said so the branch never said otherwise. Next morning I get an SMS saying congratulations on your credit offer. Ok so to me everything seems in order. So now the 48 hours has passed I phone the head office to find out when the money would be available. Only to get told at that moment AFTER I HAVE CALLED them that the application was unsuccessful. Now you tell me how ********* their process is. I'm livid at the fact that there are probably so many people they have done this to and that their process is not being investigated. This needs to be investigated.
