African Bank STAY away. *****sters ******* *****ing my money. Stay away.

In 2020 I took a 16k loan at African bank. Due to covid 19 pandemic my business took a dive and I couldn't repay my loan in full but I did pay for a few months. In MARCH 2024 I contacted African bank telling them I finally have the money in full I would like to repay my loan. Firstly They didn't offer me the 35 percent discount like they are giving to most of their clients and secondly. I only ever took a 16k loan nothing else was given to me. There was talking with a consultant at the wynberg branch about increasing my next loan but it never got so far. Now when I contacted African bank they telling me I owe 16k PLUS a 35k loan . I told them I've never ever taken that 35k loan. One does not forgot something like that. I even went to my bank to draw bank statements of that specific time No no evidence showing a 35k payout so clearly I didn't get that money. In April after numerous phones an wasting alot of airtime some agent said I should email my documents to show I didn't receive a 35k an it will be sorted within that day or the next day. I did that and still no feedback at all now we are in September already last week a new agent promised me definitely they will sort it out I mustn't worry. Yesterday African bank just told me they are investigating the matter. No turn around time or nothing. This is affecting my credit score. It's not right I must struggle like this. I want to pay what I borrowed. Life is to expensive to keep paying for things we didn't ever receive. So people stay away from African bank. Useless. No help at all. 99 percent of the time the agents are rude to Clients calling in.
