African Bank pursuing arrears when person was unemployed since May 2022

I have been unemployed for over a year, since May 2022, I went to the Alberton branch to inform them. I made an agreement to pay R200.00 which I knew I would even borrow to have in time for the debit order. Last month, I just got a job and my bank account was debited with the full loan debit amount without my confirmation, that is not the problem though. Now Africsn bank is constantly phoning me during the day for a R35 000 arrears amount, which I ask the consultant where I should get it from.since I had not been working, she was just rude, told me I shouldn't her questions. I am very disappointed in African Bank's treatment especially since I informed them of my circumstances and I had been paying well before I lost my job and was pregnant at the time
