African Bank overplayed it's authority

My friend's Standard Bank account was blocked by a person from African Bank , which doesn't make sense. The number she got from Standard Bank ***** dept stays unavailable , and not.even the branch at Goodwood Mall was able to assist her. She has no account at African Bank , so how can they block her Standard Bank account. I don't think I'll open an account with them.
