African Bank is the worst bank

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the services provided by African Bank in recent months,my recent experiences have been nothing short of exasperating. In June, I contacted African Bank to inquire about settling my account. After receiving the requested settlement amount, I promptly made the payment in full, believing that I had successfully closed my account with the bank. To my utter surprise and dismay, I have continued to receive statements indicating that I owe African Bank an outstanding balance of R1187, which is allegedly due on 07/09/2023. This discrepancy in my account status is not only inaccurate but also detrimental to my financial standing. I have always been diligent about managing my finances and maintaining a good credit score. Unfortunately, this situation has caused a new account to be created under African Bank on my credit report, damaging my previously impeccable credit history. In an effort to resolve this matter and seek clarification on the alleged outstanding balance, I made two separate phone calls to African Bank customer service department today. Regrettably, both attempts proved to be fruitless and extremely frustrating. I was subjected to excessively long wait times, during which I had to listen to an automated voice message repeatedly instructing me to hold for a consultant. The wait times were so excessive that I exhausted a significant portion of my paid airtime with no opportunity to speak to a representative. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I am deeply disappointed with the lack of assistance and support I have received from African Bank. It is abundantly clear that this bank has failed to address my concerns and rectify the erroneous account information that is adversely affecting my credit score. I would like to emphasize that I do not owe African Bank any money, and I have no desire to maintain any further association with this institution,this is by far the worst bank to associate with
