African bank free vouchers

I just had a terrible experience in these two days , I moved banks completed moving to african bank I got sms that I’ve received voucher that I can redeem at checkers, was so happy. I reserved the voucher for my sons birthday cake. I waited for the voucher called african bank trying to find out when will I can the wi code. I waited the whole day on my sons birthday. What made matter worse I had to use my airtime to even call and follow up only I managed to speak to a consultant and they promised me that it would be sorted out during the course of the day Time 8 am 8/9/2020. I called again 2:30pm the consultant that was assisting me mentioned that the incident was never logged in the initial call I made. He then the incident Was logged around 3:15 pm . And I had hope that things would be better . The next day I called again at 11am they eventually sent the voucher number , Me and my kids decided to go to the shops to buy the cake I get there to pay the voucher declined. The manager of the shop even assisted with alternative ways to redeem it nothing happened . Clearly all the changes I made moving to the bank it’s self is not a reliable move. If I can fight for a voucher of R150 how reliable is this bank to even receive my salary every month .Public Please do be aware I’ve never been so frustrated and embarrassed.
