African Bank don't touch them

I had the misfortune of falling into the debt trap with African Bank. I would like to bring to the publics attention regarding the ******* and terrifying actions of African Bank and to warn the public not to touch them.

A number of years ago I was unfortunately trapped into the short term loan trap with African Bank. What they were doing before their collapse is if you went to them they just paid off your last loan with them and gave a higher new loan and I got caught into this trap.

I went into debt counseling for a number of years and the debt counselor paid the creditors. Due to my husband losing his job I had to stop debt counseling.

African Bank got hold of me in 2017 and sent what they call a "Tracer" to my work. I signed a debt construction form and have been paying this every month apart from 3 times I was unable to pay. Please note I have 4 loans with African Bank. At the end of January I increased each payment by R100 for each loan.

Today, the 11th of February a "tracer" from African Bank called my cellphone. A very arrogant and unwilling to listen person. I tried to explain that I already have a debt structure in place and paying them every month. I ended the call on my cellphone and barred the number. Then they started calling my work. Unfortunately they got hold of my bosses cell number and called him about this debt. To say I almost lost my job today. Thank God I have a good relationship with my boss and profusely apologized.
