African Bank Disregard to Disability

My husband who has been suffering from Cancer has been put on disability WEF 01/09/2015 with a sever loss of income. We immediately informed African Bank of the situation and submitted the supporting documentation to activate the disability cover we had on the current loans with African Bank. It was soon clear that the staff from African Bank was *********** to deal with the process, we continued paying the instalment for a further 3 months with the hope that some-one will in a this period be able to resolve the claim and settle the outstanding balances. By December 2015 we have submitted +/- 10 set of supporting documentation directly to the branch in Centurion Mall as well as via e-mails to numerous people and divisions, and could no longer afford to continue paying instalments on loans which should have been settled by the disability insurance. As soon as we stopped paying we received daily calls following up on outstanding amounts we explained every time that a disability claim was submitted and we need assistance with the settlement, some consultants gave us additional contact numbers and others promise to get some-one to calls us back. In February 2016 we went to African Bank Head Office in Midrand to try and get assistance once again a consultant took all the supporting documentation and promised it will be resolved by month end which with no surprise did not happen. Recently my husband was listed on ITC from African Bank due to their incompetence to execute a disability claim, As my husband is now terminal ill we need to finance medical equipment to assist him but cannot do so due to the listing of African Bank. Therefore not only can they not sort out their own house they are now depriving my Husband of the critical medical equipment he needs in these final days.
