African Bank digital channel mess and poor customer service
Back-end integration between African bank and other bank debicheck does not work, it gets stuck in a loop. I left several messages for AFB to call me, more than 24 hours later, no call backs. I tried twice to phone AFB as they disconnect the call in the middle of the conversation. It seems as if nothing works at African Bank!!! Digital channels are a mess, and the staff is just not interested.

13 Jul 2023, 15:02No, you have it wrong again, your auto message to the phone does not work, you have removed the manual authentication which leaves FB and their customers with no other option than the going into one of the branches, I did do that this morning and still they cannot get past the debicheck process as your system is stuck. Problem 1 is that AFB does not have a plan B if the system does not work, problem 2 is that you are leaving your customers hanging while nothing else is happening.

14 Jul 2023, 11:11The funds had been transferred to an AFB My world account, i cannot transfer form that account as your APP is saying i must accept a message which i don't get!!! These messages you are sending form your system do not work!! I have no way of accessing the funds now, why was it not paid into my STB account.....

You don't send SMS or OTP's as best practice in use by many other banks, now with your stupid pop-up messaging system that does not work there is no way to transfer the money!!! Now you probably going to tell me to go into a branch again. YOU SHOULD NOT BE A BANK!!!
