African Bank cause of not getting home loan

<p>Me and my husband applying for a home loan and for the last couple of months I'm struggling with African bank due to dept I had 5 years ago.. I contacted them 5 months go and was told I'm not on the data based and the dept is written off my name will be cleared on it because I wanted to pay the amount was told I can't... Now a few months later still no joy still getting declined for a home loan and now getting told my name can't be cleared...very unhappy and need this sorted </p>
