AFRICAN BANK

Actually NO STARS but I cannot continue without giving a star. I paid up my loan on 9 December 2022. I have a statement to prove that the balance was zero. After I settled my loan long before I had to, African Bank added R511 interest on a zero balance. They deducted the R511 on the 22 of December AFTER I sent them an email on the 10th of December requesting a paid up letter. They never answer any of my emails. I called on the 22nd of December, received reference numbers of the closure as well as the refund. It was confirmed telephonically that African Bank was not allowed to add interest on a paid up account and it will be rectified. In the beginning of January 2023 I called the ***** hotline of African Bank. Spoke to Sam. She also agreed that African Bank has to rectify this and gave me a reference number. Said it will take about 3 weeks. Now every day at 8 I get a call from African Bank regarding this R511. Rude and threatening calls everyday. And every day I ask them if they see the interest was added after I paid up the account and yes, they can see it. I did not even receive a discount. This is not the only account that I paid up. But no one at African Bank is doing their job
